The specialty chemicals company Perstorp AB will build a filling station for pure RME (rapeseed methyl ester) in the town Perstorp in Sweden. Due to the high quality and sustainability of the fuel it has grown in poularity on the Scandinavian market. Perstorp has therefore planned to set up a filling station for this fuel together with Biofuel Express AB.

The plan is to have the station up and running by mid September. Then it will be open for anyone to go there and refuel the diesel car or truck.

RME can replace fossil diesel in all diesel vehicles as long as the vehicle manufacturer allows it.
